This is what I did.

I eventually did this enough that I created a website with financials on unlisted companies: unlistedstocks.net the site has updated GWOX financials on there.

NateNate Tobikhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05660387777171986124noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2149523431587168680.post-13902707986745600022013-03-12T12:46:29.647-04:002013-03-12T12:46:29.647-04:00Where did you get the financials?

SCHS is in the supplemental educational materials business whereas G-W is in the actual textbook business. The difference is who the decision maker is. For SCHS a department can buy those supplies out of their yearly budget, G-W's books are mandated down from the state level.

G-W has a strong technical school business as well, I'm not sure what dynamics are at work in that industry. My guess without much research is the technical book sales are what supported the company last year.Nate Tobikhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05660387777171986124noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2149523431587168680.post-80760475259756499972012-10-08T12:20:35.620-04:002012-10-08T12:20:35.620-04:00Nate, a couple of thoughts:

Was that because of options issued to management? I noticed that the buyback in 2012 merely made up for the increase in share count in the previous 5 years.Steviehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14027207408085374556noreply@blogger.com
