Per their latest 10-Q they have just over 5,000 of marketable securities. My concern is exactly what you mention: that the business is a parasite sucking up the cash. I don't know enough to see if their business can turnaround, but I don't see any market for a small third-party "signal processor" (aka making wireless connectors for computers).
